NEW YORK METS vs. ATLANTA BRAVES (April 10-12)

Friday, April 10 at 7:35 p.m. - Fans are asked to be in their seats by 6:45 p.m.

  • Gate giveaway: Georgia Power Magnetic Schedule
    The first 45,000 fans will receive a magnetic schedule presented by Georgia Power.
  • Pregame performance: Ed Roland and the Sweet Tea Project
    A Georgia native, Ed Roland first gained popularity as the lead singer of legendary band Collective Soul. Ed Roland and the Sweet Tea Project is Ed Roland's side project that began in 2011, releasing their debut album, Devils 'n Darlins, in 2013. The band will perform a 60-minute set in Fan Plaza starting at 5:15 p.m.
  • Pregame ceremony: The Braves will pay tribute to the last 50 years in Atlanta with video highlights and appearances by some of the most iconic figures in Braves history. Scheduled to appear: Bill Bartholomay, Hank Aaron, Phil Niekro, Dale Murphy, Bobby Cox, Fred McGriff, Sid Bream and Chipper Jones.
  • National anthem: Ed Roland and the Sweet Tea Project will take the field to perform the national anthem, while A List members hold an American flag that covers the outfield.
  • Hometown Hero: The Braves will honor a local military member during the game.
  • 7th inning stretch: Performance of God Bless America by Timothy Miller of the Atlanta Opera. 
  • Friday Night Fireworks presented by Georgia Lottery: Fans will be treated to a dazzling display of fireworks over Turner Field.
  • Merchandise offer: The Braves Game Used Store (located on the Terrace Level near the Chop House) will be offering a 20% discount to all A List members during the first homestand, April 10 - 15.

    • Braves Tomahawks: The first 800 fans to check in will unlock a red foam tomahawk.
    • Friday Night Fireworks on the field: One fan will unlock the chance to bring three friends on the field to watch the postgame fireworks. Redeemable at the A List Clubhouse (Section 128).

  • Atlanta Braves Foundation Opening Day Auction: From the gates opening until the third inning, the Atlanta Braves Foundation will host a large silent auction featuring signed baseballs, bats, hats, photos, and framed pieces as part of its Opening Day festivities. The auction will take place in the Plaza, Section 202 and the SunTrust Club.All proceeds from the auction will benefit the Atlanta Braves Foundation, the non-profit arm of the Atlanta Braves

Saturday, April 11 at 7:10 p.m.

  • Pregame performance: Alex Guthrie Band: The Braves 8th annual Band of the Year competition kicks off on Saturday of Opening Weekend with the 2014 winner, the Alex Guthrie Band, performing pregame in Fan Plaza.

  • Jackie Robinson Invitational presented by Delta Air Lines: The Atlanta Braves are hosting the 4th Annual Jackie Robinson Invitational Tournament presented by Delta Air Lines, to commemorate the 68th anniversary of Jackie Robinson breaking the color barrier in Major League Baseball. The tournament is taking place at the Braves Baseball Academy at the Villages of Carver YMCA.  

Sunday, April 12 at 1:35 p.m.

  • Alumni Sundays presented by Hyundai: Starting two hours before the game, fans can catch Braves alumni Chris Hammond and Mike Bell for autographs in Fan Plaza.

  • Leadoff Luncheon: The Atlanta Braves are hosting the 2015 Leadoff Luncheon in the 755 Club at Turner Field to benefit the Atlanta Braves Foundation. The luncheon provides fans and sponsors the opportunity to get an inside look at the upcoming season by having lunch with Braves players, coaches and executives.   • She Can Dream - Prom Makeover: The Braves Wives will host 25 high school junior and senior girls at Turner Field from the Atlanta Public School System for an afternoon of prom preparation. The girls will get the VIP treatment as they browse through beautiful prom dresses and select their perfect gowns, courtesy of Fairytale Endings located in Kennesaw, GA. They will also receive Belk $50 gift certificates for the purchase of shoes to complement their gowns. The girls will participate in hair/make-up tutorials provided by K.P. Images, Inc. Each of the girls will be invited to stay for the Braves games following the event.

    This is part of the "She is Brave" initiative, which educates, empowers and inspires girls through a series of initiatives that promotes self-esteem, healthy lifestyles and leadership skills.

  • Jackie Robinson Day: The Braves will honor the life and career of baseball legend Jackie Robinson on Wednesday, April 15. All Braves will take the field wearing number 42 as they take on the Marlins.
  • Civil and Human Rights Education Day: The Braves will host the second annual Civil and Human Rights Education Day. Doug Shipman of the National Center for Civil and Human Rights, Braves first base coach Terry Pendleton, and Brave Alumni Brian Jordan will participate in a presentation to middle and high school students on the impact sports had on the Civil Rights Movement.
