A's Reinstate OF Reddick from the Disabled List; Option IF/OF Ladendorf

The Oakland A's reinstated outfielder Josh Reddick from the 15-day disabled list and optioned infielder/outfielder Tyler Ladendorf to Triple-A Nashville, the club announced today.

Reddick began the season on the DL with a strained right oblique muscle and played in just one game this spring. He went 3-for-3 with two runs and two RBI March 4 at San Francisco before the injury. Reddick began a rehab assignment with Single-A Stockton on Thursday and went 1-for-7 (.143) with a walk, RBI and two strikeouts in two games, both starts in right field at Inland Empire.

Ladendorf made his Major League debut with the A's, going 2-for-10 (.200) with two RBI in four games. He tripled in his first ML at bat Wednesday night against Texas and also drove in two runs to become the fifth player in Oakland history with a multiple RBI game in his debut. Ladendorf made the A's Opening Day roster after hitting .318 with 13 RBI in 27 games this spring.
