Mariners place RHP Tom Wilhelmsen on 15-day disabled list

LOS ANGELES -- Seattle Mariners Executive Vice President & General Manager Jack Zduriencik announced the following roster moves which will be in place for tonight's game vs. the Los Angeles Dodgers:

·     Tom Wilhelmsen, RHP, placed on 15-day disabled list with a hyperextended right elbow (retro to 4/11)

·     Dominic Leone, RHP, recalled from AAA Tacoma

Leone (#52) will be in uniform for tonight's game vs. the Dodgers.

Wilhelmsen, 31, has made two appearances this season allowing 5 hits and 2 runs in 2.2 innings (6.75 ERA). His placement on the disabled list is retroactive to the day following his last appearance (4/10 at Oakland). He is eligible to come off the disabled list on April 26.

Leone, 23, made one appearance with AAA Tacoma in the Rainiers opening series at El Paso. He faced three batters in 1.0 scoreless inning April 10, striking out one.
