Phillies Charities Announce Three Fan Events to Strike Out ALS

The Phillies fight to end ALS - the devastating neuromuscular condition for which there is no known cause or cure - continues with three upcoming charity events featuring unique experiences and opportunities for fans. Events include the Phillies Phestival (tickets on sale April 22), The Phantastic Auction (April 23-May 14), and a new "Together We Fight" t-shirt, designed by third baseman Cody Asche and his wife, Angie, which will launch with an autograph signing (April 25).

Proceeds will benefit the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the ALS Association, with monies raised providing much-needed patient care and services for ALS patients in the Greater Philadelphia area. Since the Phillies adopted ALS as their primary charity in 1984, more than $15.2 million has been raised for the fight against the disease.

• Phillies Phestival, tickets on sale Wednesday, April 22, 9:00 a.m., at phillies.com or by calling 215-463-1000. The Phillies Phestival is a fun-filled autograph and auction party for all ages, held annually to help strike out ALS. This year's event will be on Monday, June 1, at Citizens Bank Park, and feature 2015 players and coaches, a photo booth with Hall of Famer Mike Schmidt, grab bags with autographed items, and more. There will also be a silent auction including memorabilia from current players, a trip to see the Phillies on the road, an opportunity to announce the Phillies lineup before a game, among others.
   
• The Phantastic Auction, Thursday, April 23 - Thursday, May 14. Let the bidding begin! This phillies.com, 22-day online auction event gives fans nation-wide the chance to bid on once-in-a-lifetime experiences with Phillies players and alumni, trips, memorabilia and many other unique opportunities. The full list of 50 Phantastic Auction experiences will run the gamut and feature something for every fan. The Phantastic Auction is in partnership with SportsRadio 94WIP and Talk Radio 1210 WPHT, with net proceeds benefitting Phillies Charities, Inc., and a portion of those proceeds to be contributed to the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the ALS Association. Last year's online event garnered nearly $160,000.

• Cody Asche Autograph Signing and New "Together We Fight" T-Shirt, Saturday, April 25. Phillies 3^rd baseman Cody Asche and his wife, Angie, will launch a new self-designed "Together We Fight" t-shirt during an autograph signing (limited) on Saturday, April 25, from noon-1:00 p.m. in the Majestic Clubhouse Store at Citizens Bank Park. With the purchase of the new "Together We Fight" t-shirt at this event, fans will receive one autograph from Asche (limit 4 shirts per purchase). Free Parking in Lot S until 1:00 p.m. for this event with the mention of the Majestic Clubhouse Store. Fans may also purchase the "Together We Fight" t-shirt at the Majestic Clubhouse Store or on phillies.com beginning April 25^th. Each t-shirt costs $24.99, with net proceeds benefitting the ALS Association, Greater Philadelphia chapter.
