Sixth Annual Weather and Science Day at Coors Field April 23

DENVER - The Colorado Rockies, 9News and Colorado State University will hold the sixth annual Weather and Science Day at Coors Field on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. 

The hour-long program featuring Colorado State University's Little Shop of Physics and the 9News Weather Team will lead students from grades three through eight in an interactive lesson about physics, math and meteorology and how they relate to baseball. Students will also participate in several large-scale experiments on the Coors Field outfield grass.

Following the event, the students and their teachers will attend the Rockies vs. Padres game at 1:10 p.m.
