Free Fenway park "Open House" presented by Nexium® 24hr takes place tomorrow 10 a.m. To 6 p.m.

Florida A&M University will Play North Carolina Central at 2 p.m. in Fenway Park's First-ever Historically Black College Baseball Showcase

BOSTON, MA - To help ensure as many fans as possible have an opportunity to enjoy Fenway Park during April school vacation week, the Red Sox will host a free, day-long Open House tomorrow, Saturday, April 25, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. 

The Open House, presented by Nexium® 24HR, will feature college baseball between two Historically Black Colleges, Florida A&M University and North Carolina Central University, starting at 2 p.m. The game will be broadcast live on NESN. 

Fans will have a chance to walk around the park at their own pace, discover behind-the-scenes locations, and learn more about the 103-year-old ballpark's history by following the "Fenway Park: A Living Museum" plaques, displays, and historical markers.

From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., fans will also have an opportunity to walk on the warning track, sit in the dugouts, peer into the bullpens, and peek inside the Green Monster scoreboard.

Fans can meet and receive autographs from Red Sox alumni throughout the day in the Wheels Up Clubhouse and take photos with the three World Series trophies. The schedule of alumni signing autographs is as follows:

  • 11 a.m. - noon Bob Montgomery, Brian Rose, and Steve Lyons
  • 12 p.m. - 1 p.m. Chris Howard, Bob Montgomery, and Dick Berardino
  • 1 p.m. - 2 p.m. Skip Lockwood and Chris Howard
  • 2 p.m. - 3 p.m. Ted Lepcio, Billy Conigliaro, and Oil Can Boyd
  • 3 p.m. - 4 p.m. Ted Lepcio and Oil Can Boyd
  • 4 p.m. - 5 p.m. Sam Horn, Ken Ryan, Gerry Moses, and Jeff Plympton

Families with children can stop by the Royal Rooters Club in the Kids Concourse where Wally's Clubhouse will be set up with kid-friendly activities such a face painting, craft tables, and a balloon artist.

A college fair of historically black colleges will be set up in the State Street Pavilion Club before the game.

All Fenway Park gates will be open and concession stands throughout the park will offer discounted concessions.
