Happy Birthday Phanatic! Best Mascot in Sports to Get Citizens Bank Phanatic Birthday Bash on Sunday
On-field celebration starts 1 p.m. with surprise guests arriving from the Galapagos Islands
On Sunday, April 26, at 1:00 p.m. the Phillies and Citizens Bank will be throwing the Phillie Phanatic a big party in honor of his birthday - and fans of all ages will be treated to some special surprises on-field at Citizens Bank Park before that day's game against the Atlanta Braves. Highlights include:
- Special guests - friends of the Phanatic from his "younger" years - will be arriving from the Galapagos Islands to surprise the Phanatic on his big day.
- A giant birthday card signed by Phillies fans will be presented to the Phanatic by Citizens Bank.
- Sock It to the Phanatic: Kids 14 and under will receive Phanatic baseball socks, courtesy of Citizens Bank.
- The entire ballpark will sing Happy Birthday as the Phanatic is presented with a ShopRite birthday cake.
