Indians place LHP TJ House on 15-day DL

CLEVELAND, OH - The Cleveland Indians today announced the following roster moves relative to the Major League roster:

Placed LHP TJ HOUSE on the 15-day Disabled List with left shoulder inflammation.

Recalled OF TYLER HOLT (#13) from AAA Columbus.

House lost his fourth consecutive start last night vs. Toronto in Progressive Field and has posted an ERA of 13.15 over his first four starts of the season (13.0IP, 21H, 19ER, 12BB, 7K). Today marks his first career stint on the Major League D.L.

Holt, 26, has spent the entire regular season in Triple-A Columbus following his March 29 option out of Major League camp. On the year he is hitting .328 (20-61) with 12 runs, 2 doubles, 1 triple and 4 RBI in 19 games for the Clippers. He is currently 8th in the International League in on-base pct. (.438) and runs scored (12) and is tied for 6th in walks (12). He has appeared in games at all three outfield positions (4 LF, 9 CF, 1 RF) for Chris Tremie to begin the season.
