Blue Jays trade Wilkins to Dodgers

The TORONTO BLUE JAYS have traded first baseman ANDY WILKINS to the Los Angeles Dodgers in exchange for cash considerations.

WILKINS, 26, batted .264 in 21 games this season for Buffalo of the International League (AAA) with four doubles and nine RBI. The 6-1, 220 lb. left-handed hitter who was designated for assignment on May 2, was acquired by Toronto on waivers from the Chicago White Sox on March 29, 2015.
