Blue Jays Roster Move

The TORONTO BLUE JAYS have recalled INF/OF CHRIS COLABELLO from Buffalo of the International League (AAA) and have optioned INF JONATHAN DIAZ to Buffalo. To make room on the 40-man roster LHP JAYSON AQUINO has been designated for assignment.

COLABELLO, 31, has posted a .337 average for the Bisons this season with five home runs and 18 RBI. The 6-4, 235 lb. right-handed hitter was recently name International League Player of the Month for April, while adding Batter of the Week three times in April. In parts of the last two season with Minnesota, the Framingham, MA native has recorded a .214 average with 13 home runs and 56 RBI in 114 Major League games.
