  • Teacher Appreciation Night presented by Think Energy and GDF SUEZ Energy Resources
    • The Phillies 10 Teacher All-Stars, selected from over 1,000 nominations, will be honored on the field prior to the game. Click here to see who is being honored.
    • All teachers with IDs can receive a special stadium cup at the kiosk in the First Base Plaza.
    • National Anthem: Upper Moreland Middle School Chorus. Deaf Community Choir will sign the anthem.

    • Record Recognition for Ryan Howard: Last Friday, Ryan Howard set a Phillies record by playing his 1,299th game at first base (during game against the Marlins). In honor of this achievement, Phillies president Pat Gillick will present Howard with an authenticated first base from this game.

  • StubHub Mother's Appreciation Day. Women 15 and over receive a Phillies Wristlet. On-field celebration starts at 1:10 p.m.:
    • Darin Ruf's Mom, Mary Ruf, will be representing all mom's at the ballpark.
    • MLB "Going to Bat Against Breast Cancer" Awareness throughout the game:
      • Recognition of Phillies Honorary Bat Girl, Roni Storti from Trappe, Pa., a five-year breast cancer survivor who will be honored that day for her inspirational fight against breast cancer.
      • Jerome Williams, who lost his mother to breast cancer, and uses a pink glove in honor of her memory, also will take part.
      • Other in-game elements: Players and on-field personnel will wear the symbolic pink ribbon on their uniforms along with pink wrist bands; Commemorative base jewels and dugout lineup cards also will be pink; games will feature a pink-stitched Rawlings baseball, the official ball of MLB. Also, many players also will use pink bats, and pink Louisville Slugger bats, the Official Bat of Major League Baseball, which will be stamped with the MLB breast cancer awareness logo.
  • Celebrate Sundays! Complimentary face painting on the concourse, $5 ice cream sundaes and root beer floats at Harry the K's starting in the 4th inning.
  • Phillies Charities, Inc. Silent Auction - First Base Plaza, 11:35 a.m. until 3:05 p.m. New and game used memorabilia. Proceeds benefit Phillies Charities, Inc.
