Reminder: White Sox upcoming series activities

WHAT: The Chicago White Sox upcoming homestand includes promotional highlights, giveaways and ceremonial first pitches for the upcoming home series vs. the Cincinnati Reds.

Tickets for all games are available at whitesox.com, the U.S. Cellular Field ticket office (Monday-Friday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; Saturday-Sunday 10 a.m.-4 p.m.) or by calling 866-SOX-GAME. Season ticket packages are available for purchase by calling 312-674-1000.

The White Sox will host Back to the Future Night, a celebration of the 30th anniversary of the hit film. This theme night includes a pregame performance by cover band "Great Scott!" at Gate 4 and postgame fireworks set to a "Back to the Future" soundtrack. Fans are encouraged to visit the DeLorean Time Machine - the time-traveling vehicle from the movie - at Gate 3 and at Section 159. The "Back to the Future Night" Party Shop in Section 159 will offer exclusive "Back to the Future" gear. The #SoxSocial Lounge also will have a new look for the night.

John Daly, famed PGA Tour star, will throw a ceremonial first pitch at U.S. Cellular Field after a 6 p.m. celebrity bartending appearance at ChiSox Bar & Grill. Daly's professional career began in 1987 before winning the Missouri Open that same year. When he joined the PGA Tour in 1991, he won the Championship and earned PGA Tour Rookie of the Year honors. The professional golfer also won the British Open in 1995.

The White Sox will celebrate Mother-Son Night on Saturday, May 9. Mothers, stepmothers, grandmothers, mother figures and their sons are invited to enjoy a night at the ballpark. The first 10,000 ladies ages 14 and up to enter U.S. Cellular Field will receive a Mother's Day tote. Fans are encouraged to capture their night at the photo booth near Section 155 and visit the Party Shop at Section 159 for drawstring leather bags, White Sox bracelets, temporary tattoos and more.

The first 500 fans to purchase "Selfie Sunday" tickets will have the opportunity to enter the ballpark early for a "selfie" photo session with five select players and/or coaches. The ticket includes both a ticket to the event as well as a Lower Box ticket for the game. Tickets and additional information for this new ballpark promotion are available at whitesox.com/selfiesunday.

The "Share the Name, Share the Game" promotion welcomes fans who share the same last name as White Sox players to the family with specially priced tickets. Tickets and additional information are available at whitesox.com/family.

Tony Lucca, American singer/songwriter and second runner-up on the second season of NBC's "The Voice," will perform a pregame acoustic set, the National Anthem and "God Bless America." Lucca has toured with artists Maroon 5, Kelly Clarkson, 'N Sync, Marc Anthony and others.

The 2015 Honorary Bat Girl Jody Huffmaster, a life-long White Sox fan, will throw out the ceremonial first pitch before Sunday's game. Huffmaster is one of 30 MLB 2015 Honorary Bat Girl Contest winners, which is awarded to women who have been affected by breast cancer and who have gone above and beyond to demonstrate a commitment to fight this disease. She is a two-time breast cancer survivor who has personally raised more than $18,000 through her involvement with Chicago's "AVON 39 - The Walk to End Breast Cancer."

The White Sox will host Military Spouse Appreciation Day. Military spouses Cecilia Martinez, Naty Figueroa, Barbie Richards, Lonzo Adams, Lenore Steinys, Danetta Sneed and Corina Chavez will all take the field with White Sox players to honor those who love and support our service members.

Family Sunday, presented by The University of Chicago Medicine Comer Children's Hospital, offers tickets as low as $5 in the Upper Level and $15 in the Lower Level with $10 parking. Entertainment includes children's running the bases postgame (weather permitting), face painters, balloonists, a caricature artist and magnet art. Fans also will have the opportunity to show off their pitching skills at the Bulls/Sox Academy's speed pitch inflatable at Gate 5. Additional information is available at whitesox.com/Sundays.
