White Sox return Chris Beck to Class AAA Charlotte

CHICAGO - Following the second game of today's doubleheader vs. Cincinnati, the Chicago White Sox returned right-hander Chris Beck to Charlotte.

Beck, 24, was designated as the 26th man for the nightcap but did not pitch after his contract was purchased from Charlotte in between games of the doubleheader. He is 1-1 with a 4.78 ERA (14 ER/26.1 IP) and 18 strikeouts over five starts (two quality) with Charlotte this season. 

Following the move, the White Sox roster returns to 25.
