Pirates to Host University Days at PNC Park

The Pittsburgh Pirates announced today the team will host University Days at PNC Park to celebrate local universities on specific Wednesday dates throughout the remainder of the 2015 season. Students, alumni and fans of local universities are invited to cheer on the Pirates together at PNC Park and all who purchase the special tickets will receive an official Pirates university cap.

Each University Days ticket includes a Pirates cap in the specific university colors and a seat in either the Grandstand or Outfield Box areas. Each night will also feature a networking opportunity, with limited availability, at a PNC Park venue prior to the game featuring special college pricing of select food and beverage options.

Ticket prices for University Days are $19 for Grandstand and $31 for Outfield Box seats and are on sale now at pirates.com/universitydays.

The debut of University Days begins on Wednesday, June, 10 with the University of Pittsburgh, and the complete list of the 2015 University Days (All game times are 7:05 p.m. ET) is as follows:

• University of Pittsburgh: Wednesday, June 10 vs Milwaukee Brewers
• West Virginia University: Wednesday, July 8 vs San Diego Padres
• Penn State University: Wednesday, August 5 vs Chicago Cubs
• Robert Morris University: Wednesday, August 19 vs Arizona Diamondbacks
• Duquesne University: Wednesday, September 16 vs Chicago Cubs
• Point Park University: Wednesday, September 30 vs St. Louis Cardinals
