Braves Conclude 2015 First-Year Player Draft

The Atlanta Braves completed the 2015 First-Year Player Draft tonight by selecting 30 players in addition to the 13 selections during the first two days of the draft. Overall, the 43 draftees included 24 pitchers (16 right-handed, eight left-handed), 10 infielders, five catchers and four outfielders. Atlanta selected 26 college players, while the remaining 17 players were chosen out of high school. Ten of the 43 selected players are from the state of Georgia.
