Blue Jays select Coke

The TORONTO BLUE JAYS have selected the contract of LHP PHIL COKE from the Buffalo Bisons (Triple-A). 

COKE, 32, appeared in 16 games for the Chicago Cubs this season posting a 6.30 ERA. The 6-1, 210 lb. left-handed pitcher was released by Chicago on May 26 and then signed as a minor league free agent with Toronto on June 1. He appeared in three games for Buffalo pitching 4.0 scoreless innings.
