Minnesota Minute Men and the Minnesota Twins Announce Winners of the 2015 Play Ball! Mr. Baseball, Ms. Softball Awards

Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minn. - The Minnesota Minute Men, in cooperation with the Minnesota Twins Community Fund, are proud to announce that Eddie Estrada of Litchfield and Maddie Dam of Kasson-Manterville have won the 2015 Play Ball! Minnesota Mr. Baseball and Ms. Softball Awards. These senior athletes, along with the other finalists, were selected by a panel of Major League Baseball scouts and college baseball and softball coaches from around the state of Minnesota.

"The Minute Men appreciate the support of the Minnesota Twins and the Twins Community Fund in helping to honor these great athletes." Matt Williams, Executive Director of the Minute Men.

Award finalists for the Mr. Baseball award included:
Angelo Altavilla - Lakeville North; Ty Buck - Red Wing; Eddie Estrada - Litchfield; Sean Hjelle - Mahtomedi; Ben Humbert - International Falls; Jake Irvin - Bloomington Jefferson;
Jake Stevenson - Waconia

Award finalists for the Ms. Softball award included:
Vanessa Anderson - Byron; Taylor Chell - Anoka; Maddie Damon - Kasson-Mantorville; Kerrigan Hoshaw - Eastview; Maddie Houlihan - Benilde-St. Margaret's; Emma Hylen - Roseville;
Sydney Smith - Maple Grove
