Red Sox to host Father's Day "Walk in the Park" this Sunday

Annual Father's Day celebration presented by Bank of America; photos with Sam Horn and family-friendly activities from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.; free tours of Fenway Park for dads from 9-5

BOSTON, MA - The Boston Red Sox will once again open Fenway Park for a Father's Day "Walk in the Park," presented by Bank of America, on Sunday, June 21, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Additionally, dads can enjoy free tours of Fenway Park all day, every hour on the hour, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The annual celebration of Father's Day at Fenway Park, established in 2002, gives fans the opportunity to walk around the warning track, sit inside visitor and home dugouts, take photos with Red Sox alumni, and participate in other family-friendly activities. The event is free.

Fans can enter the ballpark through Gate C. Red Sox alumnus Sam Horn will take photos and meet fans in the Red Sox dugout, and the three World Series Trophies will be placed behind home plate for photos.

Wally the Green Monster and his dad, Walter, will be on hand, accompanied by a balloon artist, face painter, caricature artist, and stilt walker.

In an effort to highlight the memories made at this event, Bank of America is inviting participants to share their favorite moments from the day using #MLBmemorybank.

Ballpark concessions will be available with special Father's Day-friendly pricing. The event will take place rain or shine.
