Salt-N-Pepa and Never Stop Believin' added to Marlins 2015 Summer Concert Series

MIAMI - The Marlins today announced two additional musical acts to take the stage as part of the Saturday Spectacular summer concert series at Marlins Park this season: Salt-N-Pepa and Never Stop Believin' - The Ultimate Journey Tribute Show. The remaining summer concerts will take place on the West Plaza at the conclusion of the following three Saturday games: June 27 vs. the Dodgers, July 11 vs. the Reds and August 1 vs. the Padres.
Never Stop Believin' - The Ultimate Journey Tribute Show will perform following the June 27 contest against the Dodgers. Never Stop Believin' is a true Journey tribute that captures the look, music, and excitement of the Steve Perry years. The group has wowed crowds in the Dominican Republic and Honduras, and rocked New Orleans, New York, Atlanta, and many large festivals across Florida.
Jerry Rivera will follow with a post-game performance on July 11. The Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum salsa singer from Puerto Rico recently released a new single, with Bachata sensation, Antony Santos, "Noche Bohemia." His artistic diversity and ability captivate a demographically diverse fanbase, makes him one of the biggest musical acts in the world.
The final concert will be with Salt-N-Pepa on August 1, following the Marlins vs. Padres game. Salt-N-Pepa is an American hip-hop trio from Queens, New York. The group was formed in 1985 and was one of the first all-female rap groups. Through their career, Salt-N-Pepa have won five awards: Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group (1995), MTV Video Music Award for Best Electronic Dance Music Video (1994), MTV Video Music Award for Best Choreography (1994), MTV Video Music Award for Best R&B Video (1994) and BET Hip-Hop Awards I Am Hip-Hop Icon Award (2010).
