Season seat holder Bob Terwall named "Brewer for a Day"

MILWAUKEE, WI - Milwaukee Brewers Season Seat Holder Bob Terwall has won the organization's "Brewer for a Day" grand prize. The prize is randomly awarded to a 2015 Season Seat Holder. Terwall, a Season Seat Holder since 2002, will sign a one-day Major League contract, which includes a full uniform plus one day's pay at the Major League minimum salary. He will also be introduced at a 2 p.m. press conference at Miller Park this afternoon.
 
A lifelong baseball fan, Terwall grew up cheering for the Milwaukee Braves. His favorite player was Eddie Mathews, later Robin Yount and today Jonathan Lucroy - all admired for their work ethic and professional approach to the game. Terwall was a member of the 1969 Wisconsin state champion baseball team with Kenosha Tremper and pitched for the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in the early 1970s. He continued playing the game in various independent leagues over the past 40 years. A native of Kenosha, Bob and his wife, Nancy, currently reside in Pleasant Prairie.

In addition to the salary and uniform, Terwall will park in the VIP lot prior to tonight's game against the New York Mets, receive a baseball card with his likeness, a DVD of the highlight video shown at the press conference, a framed final page of his contract and he will throw out the first pitch prior to the game.
