White Sox offer fans food, fireworks & fun during Fourth of July holiday weekend

Specially Priced $17.76 Tickets Available on Saturday, Along with Exclusive Ballpark Activities July 3-5

The Chicago White Sox are celebrating Independence Weekend with Food, Fireworks & Fun. Fans will enjoy specially priced hot dogs and a variety of family fun activities during the weekend series against the Baltimore Orioles on July 3-5. 

All weekend long, fans can purchase $1 Vienna Beef hot dogs. On Friday, July 3, fans have the opportunity to enjoy an extended postgame fireworks show, presented by Discovery's Shark Week.

On Saturday, July 4, the White Sox are offering special $17.76 tickets in the Outfield, Bleacher and Lower Corner seats in honor of the historic year the United States declared independence. The first 20,000 fans to enter U.S. Cellular Field will receive a Bobby Jenks World Series Moment Bobblehead, presented by Comcast SportsNet. Jenks also is scheduled to attend Saturday's game.

The weekend concludes with Family Sunday, presented by The University of Chicago Medicine Comer Children's Hospital. Family Sunday offers tickets as low as $5 in the Upper Level and $15 in the Lower Level with $10 parking. Entertainment includes children running the bases postgame (weather permitting), face painters, balloonists, a caricature artist and magnet art. The Bulls/Sox Academy also will hold a raffle on the outfield concourse for a chance to win a White Sox autographed item and discuss fun White Sox camp options this summer. Kids (ages 10 and under) also eat free off the kid's menu at ChiSox Bar and Grill, located outside the ballpark near Gate 5. Additional information is available at whitesox.com/Sundays.

Fans in town for an extended holiday weekend have the opportunity to take home a World Series commemorative T-shirt during Free T-Shirt Monday on July 6, when the team takes on Toronto at 7:10 p.m. The first 10,000 fans to enter U.S. Cellular Field will receive the free T-shirt, which features a specially drawn rendition of the 2005 World Series Championship team inspired by the caricature championship shirts of the 1990's Chicago Bulls.
