Pirates sign another player from 2015 draft

The Pittsburgh Pirates today signed the following player from the 2015 First-Year Player Draft. The announcement was made by Joe DelliCarri, Pirates Director of Amateur Scouting.

RD.26 - Shane Kemp - RHP 6-3/180 - George Washington University - Bristol Pirates

Went 3-2 with a 4.18 ERA (32.1ip/20er) in 12 games (seven starts) as a senior in 2015 at George Washington University (team is coached by former Pirates hitting coach Gregg Ritchie)…Was the first player ever selected by the Pirates out of George Washington University.

The Pirates have now signed 27 players from this year's draft.
