White Sox release full list of scheduled attendees for World Series Championship Reunion Weekend

Jermaine Dye, Scott Podsednik and Frank Thomas join Paul Konerko and teammates in July; First 10,000 fans to ballpark on Sunday receive commemorative Tailgate Flag giveaway

The White Sox announced a complete list of scheduled attendees for the World Series Championship Reunion Weekend, presented by Your Local Ford Stores, on July 17-19. The updated roster includes former outfielders Jermaine Dye and Scott Podsednik and Hall of Famer Frank Thomas.

These additions expand the list of the 2005 World Series Championship team members scheduled to appear:

Reunion Weekend begins on Friday, July 17. Members of the 2005 team will be making appearances in different areas throughout the ballpark all weekend, including the #SoxSocial Lounges (located near Sections 154 and 524). Additionally, Reunion Weekend features the following events and activities:

Friday, July 17: Friday night will feature postgame fireworks, presented by Athletico, set to a video tribute commemorating the 2005 World Series run. A postgame concert by Resurrection - A Journey Tribute band - also is scheduled.

Saturday, July 18: The Parade of Champions, presented by Your Local Ford Stores, will introduce members of the 2005 team as they arrive on the field in Ford vehicles for a special ceremony before the 1:10 p.m. game against Kansas City. Fans are encouraged to be in their seats no later than 12:30 p.m. to see the pre-game ceremony. Additionally, the first 20,000 fans ages 21 and older will receive a 2005 World Championship Replica Ring, presented by Miller Lite.

Sunday, July 19: The first 10,000 fans will receive a Tailgate Flag, presented by North Star Frozen Treats. The special tailgate flag will commemorate the 10th anniversary of the World Series championship. Additionally, the game will include family-friendly entertainment as part of Family Sunday, presented by The University of Chicago Medicine Comer Children's Hospital. On Sunday night, Dye, Podsednik and Thomas are scheduled to join the cast of 2005 players at the tribute event at the iconic Chicago Theatre, "A Season to Remember: A Night with the 2005 World Series Champions." Monday, July 20: Dye, Carl Everett and Dustin Hermanson are scheduled to join a cast of 2005 members - including former manager Ozzie Guillen - along with current players and coaches in the annual Field of Greens Celebrity Golf Tournament, presented by Miller Lite. The tournament gives fans the opportunity to golf with current and former White Sox team members with proceeds supporting pediatric cancer research and treatment programs at The University of Chicago Medicine Comer Children's Hospital and Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital. Fans can visit whitesoxcharities.org to register for the fun-filled golf event.
