Sale THIS: White Sox ace Chris Sale featured in new Major League Baseball 30-second spot

CHICAGO - As part of its national advertising and branding campaign entitled "THIS," Major League Baseball has debuted a 30-second video spot today that features Chicago White Sox star Chris Sale and his historic run of eight consecutive games with 10 or more strikeouts.

The spot shows game action of batters swinging futilely at Sale's pitches, while Sox broadcasters Ken Harrelson and Steve Stone punctuate the highlights with calls of "He Gone!" and explanations of his dominant run on the mound.

The spot can be seen on MLB Network, during White Sox broadcasts, online at whitesox.com and on a variety of Major League Baseball and Sox social media platforms.

Sale pitches next on Monday at 7:10 p.m. against Toronto's Mark Buehrle as the White Sox begin their four-game series with the Blue Jays at U.S. Cellular Field. The left-hander will be attempting to strike out 10 or more in his ninth consecutive start, becoming the first pitcher in Major League history to accomplish the historic feat.

When Sale starts, fans can purchase tickets in K Zone For Sale located in Sections 154 and 155 and receive a "K Zone For Sale" T-shirt along with a strikeout card, which can be picked up at the #SoxSocial Lounge before the end of the first inning. Tickets for the K Zone For Sale section at Monday's game are available at whitesox.com, the U.S. Cellular Field ticket office (Monday-Friday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; Saturday-Sunday 10 a.m.-4 p.m.) or by calling 866-SOX-GAME.

Major League Baseball's 30-second spot is attached and also can be found at mlb.mlb.com/THIS.
