2015 Esurance MLB All-Star Game Final Vote Update #1

44MM Votes in; Cueto, Moustakas stake the first leads as online balloting enters its second full day

One day of voting down, three to go. More than 44 million votes cast (more than double YTD), tens of millions to go. Today's leaders - Johnny Cueto of the Cincinnati Reds and Mike Moustakas of the Kansas City Royals - are in place. Will they hold those leads over the final three days amidst the forthcoming tens of millions of votes? It's this furious voting pace and creative campaigning that defines the Esurance MLB All-Star Game Final Vote (#FinalVote), held exclusively on MLB.com and the individual Club sites.

Cueto has 4.7 million votes to top an extremely tight NL race, once led yesterday by St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Carlos Martinez, where the top four players are within one percent of each other. In the AL, Moustakas has 7.5 million votes, but is followed closely by Brian Dozier (Minnesota Twins) and Yoenis Cespedes (Detroit Tigers) who have been gaining ground on the Royals third baseman.
