Red Sox sign two additional players selected in 2015 June draft
Club has Signed All 14 Selections within the Top 15 Rounds
BOSTON, MA - The Boston Red Sox have signed two additional players selected in the 2015 June Draft.
Director of Amateur Scouting Mike Rikard made the announcement.
The players signed are right-handed pitcher Travis Lakins (6th round) and shortstop Yomar Valentin (20th round).
The club has now signed each of its 14 picks within the first 15 rounds. In all, 26 of the 39 players selected by Boston in the 2015 June Draft have been signed to contracts.
