Royals-Angels game on August 16 selected for ESPN Sunday Night Baseball

ESPN and Major League Baseball announced today that the Kansas City Royals August 16 game against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim has been selected to be the network's Sunday Night Baseball national game of the week and will feature a 7:08 p.m. CT first pitch. The game, which was originally scheduled for a 1:10 start, will be the Royals' second appearance on Sunday Night Baseball this year and second Sunday Night home game in as many seasons.
