In the midst of his own seasonhigh hitting streak, Eaton has recorded a hit in 11 straight games, dating back to July 22nd. Additionally, Eaton has scored a run in a career-high 10 straight games, the most by a White Sox player since Jim Thome scored in a franchise-record 17 straight games to open the 2006 season. Led by Abreu and Eaton, the White Sox have won seven of their last 10 and now sit just 3.5 games back of the Minnesota Twins for the second AL Wild Card.
