D-backs recall Allen Webster from Triple-A Reno; option Zack Godley to Double-A Mobile

PHOENIX - The Arizona Diamondbacks (@Dbacks) recalled right-handed pitcher Allen Webster from Triple-A Reno and optioned right-handed pitcher Zack Godley to Double-A Mobile, as announced by D-backs Sr. Vice President & General Manager Dave Stewart.

Webster, 25, won his last start with the Aces on Aug. 1 @ El Paso, allowing 3 runs with 8 strikeouts in 6.1 innings. In 11 starts with Reno this season, he is 3-5 with an 8.95 ERA (55 ER in 55.1 IP).

Webster made 4 starts with the D-backs in June, including earning the victory in his D-backs debut on June 13 @ Giants (2 ER in 5.2 IP).

Godley, 25, was 3-0 with a 1.50 ERA (3 ER in 18.0 IP) in 3 starts with the D-backs this season. He won his last start on Aug. 3 @ Nationals (0 ER in 6.0 IP), becoming the second Arizona starter to win his first 3 Major League outings (also Chase Anderson in 2014).
