MLB Network to produce special game telecast, Astros at Giants presented by MLB Now, next Wednesday, August 12

Brian Kenny Hosts Roundtable Game Presentation with Kevin Millar, Jim Duquette & Rob Neyer

August 6, 2015 - MLB Network will produce a special afternoon game telecast incorporating a roundtable discussion focused on advanced metrics with the Astros at Giants presented by MLB Now next Wednesday, August 12 at 3:30 p.m. ET. In line with the weekday show's premise of bringing together differing perspectives and looking at baseball trends with advanced metrics, MLB Now host Brian Kenny will lead a panel featuring MLB Network analyst and 12-year Major Leaguer Kevin Millar, MLB.com and SiriusXM baseball analyst and former general manager Jim Duquette and FOX Sports.com senior baseball editor Rob Neyer as they analyze the entire game live from MLB Network's Studio 21.

Astros at Giants presented by MLB Now will transition naturally from the studio throughout the local game telecast. With the focus remaining on the matchup between the defending World Series champion Giants and the AL West first-place Astros, Kenny will balance providing pitch-by-pitch information with group discussion, in-game interviews, leaderboard information from MLB.com's Statcast tracking technology and MLB Network's defensive alignment graphic, Shift Trax.

Astros at Giants presented by MLB Now will be available for authenticated live streaming via MLB.com At Bat for iPhone, iPad and supported Android smartphones and tablets, and online at MLBNetwork.com, through participating TV providers. The game will be blacked out in the Astros' and Giants' home television territories. Most viewers in those areas will be provided with the 3:30 p.m. ET telecast of the Baltimore Orioles at Seattle Mariners.
