Pirates Announce 2015 Postseason Ticket Opportunities

The Pittsburgh Pirates today released information to Pirates Season Ticket Members regarding the procedures for securing 2015 Postseason tickets.

Current Pirates Season Ticket Members will have the first opportunity to purchase Postseason strips, which include tickets to all potential home games at PNC Park during the 2015 Postseason. Those possible games are a potential Tiebreaker (1 game), Wild Card (1), National League Division Series (3), National League Championship Series (4) and World Series (3).

All Pirates Full, Half and 20-game Season Ticket Members will begin receiving their 2015 Pirates Postseason information today, Friday, September 4. As a reward for their loyalty, Season Ticket Members will have the opportunity to purchase Postseason strips prior to any other presale or public on-sale. All Members will be able to purchase same number of Postseason strips as there are seat locations in their account.

In addition, Full and Half-Season Ticket Members who renew their ticket packages for the 2016 season will also receive the opportunity to purchase two additional postseason strips, based on availability. Pirates 20-game Season Ticket Members will be able to purchase two additional Postseason strips, based on availability, by upgrading their current package to a 2016 Full or Half-season plan.

Season Ticket Members have until 5 PM on Wednesday, September 16 to secure their Postseason strips prior to any other pre-sale.

In addition to receiving the first priority for 2015 Postseason tickets, current Pirates Full and Half-Season Ticket Members will also receive the very best postseason pricing available only to Season Ticket Members.

As orders are filled, the Pirates will work to offer Season Ticket Members their 2015 regular season seats or a comparable location throughout the Postseason. All orders will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis and will be subject to availability.

Fans who place a NEW deposit towards a 2016 Full or Half-Season Ticket plan will have an opportunity to purchase Postseason strips. Locations will be based on availability. Fans placing a NEW deposit towards a 2016 20-game plan will receive preferred access during a 2015 Postseason pre-sale for individual tickets.

A very limited number of individual tickets to the Wild Card and National League Divisional Series will be made available to the general public beginning in late September. Future rounds will go on sale to the general public at later dates as necessary.

The Pirates today also announced Season Ticket Membership renewal information for the 2016 season. The Pirates will again offer all Season Ticket Members exciting benefits and unique experiences through the Club's Season Ticket Membership program. This popular program provides Members with special access to year-round experiences, events and benefits.

Based on tenure and investment, Season Ticket Members are able to select experiences that are most appealing to them. Customizable to each Member's preferences, these experiences include catch on the field, batting practice sessions, autograph sessions, exclusive meet-and-greets and much more. The Pirates will again utilize a variable pricing model for the 2016 season, the details of which will be announced along with the 2016 season schedule next week.

The Pirates will continue to offer one of the best values in all of professional sports with more than 9,700 seats on the lower level of PNC Park priced at less than $30 per game, and more than 14,500 seats in the upper level priced at less than $20 per game. In addition, the Pirates will offer two separate Full Season value plans in PNC Park's lower bowl, starting as low as $999.

The Pirates 2016 schedule, as well as individual ticket pricing and promotional schedule, will be released at a later date.
