Cleveland Indians, Step2 to make donations to Cleveland Clinic Children's on Thursday

Step2 will donate more than 20 playhouses and toys to Cleveland Clinic Children's Therapy Services locations across Northeast Ohio; Slider, Tribe representatives to deliver Indians gift bags

Cleveland, OH-The Cleveland Indians will partner with Step2 in making donations to Cleveland Clinic Children's at an event on Thursday morning.

Streetsboro-based Step2 will donate more than 20 playhouses and toys, while Slider and Indians representatives will be on hand to deliver Indians gift bags and more. The toys then will be dispersed to Cleveland Clinic Children's Therapy Services locations in Cleveland, Brunswick, Middleburg Heights, Westlake and Beachwood.

"Our goal is to help these children through the recovery process by providing them and their families with fun areas that encourage interactive play and bonding time that can be beneficial," said Ashley Sullivan, senior brand manager of Step2. "We want to let kids be kids, no matter what setting they're in, and what better way to do that than with toys?"

Step2 and Cleveland Clinic Children's are long-time partners of the Indians. Step2 provides toys and more in the new Family Deck at Progressive Field, and Cleveland Clinic Children's is the presenting partner of Kids Run the Bases after Sunday home games.
