2016 Royals Charities Calendar For Sale

Proceeds Benefit Braden's Hope For Childhood Cancer

KANSAS CITY, MO - The Kansas City Royals and Royals Charities are excited to announce the new 2016 calendar featuring Royals players interacting with youngsters battling childhood cancer.

For the third year in a row, the Royals have partnered with Braden's Hope For Childhood Cancer to create the calendar. "Braden's Hope For Childhood Cancer is grateful to have the opportunity to partner with the Kansas City Royals to create our '2016 A Year of HOPE' Calendars," said Braden's Hope For Childhood Cancer President, Deliece Hofen. 

"The memories the children and their families make with their baseball heroes is a memorable experience. The kindness the players show the children and the smiles they bring to the faces of these brave heroes is simply magical. Thank you to the Kansas City Royals for showing such compassion and support for these children and their families."

The calendar will be available for $10 at www.royals.com/calendar or in the Majestic Team Store at Kauffman Stadium during regular business hours, Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Fans can also purchase the calendar in the Royals Charities Headquarters during the next homestand.

About Braden's Hope For Childhood Cancer:
Braden's Hope For Childhood Cancer is a 501(c)(3) whose mission is to raise awareness and funds for research grants to hospitals and/or research institutions in the amount of $100,000. Our grants are given in the amount of $100,000 rather than smaller amounts because it makes a sizeable difference for research and grants in that amount are additionally seen by the National Institute of Health as "SEED Money" making it more likely they will contribute to those research efforts as well!
