Giants welcome Dodgers and Rockies to town

Homestand features: Wille Mac Award ceremony, festiities to honor Tim Hudson's career and more

The 2014 World Champion San Francisco Giants return home for their final regular season seven-game homestand against the Los Angeles Dodgers (September 28-October 1), and the Colorado Rockies (October 2-4).
 
On Monday, September 28, fans who purchase a special event ticket will receive a collector's-edition Giants/Warriors Championship T-shirt in addition to a ticket to the evening game versus the Dodgers. The Giants will also raise awareness for suicide and mental health issues when they spotlight Stanley Sessions, a photography project launched by the daughter of former Giants scout Stanley Saleski who committed suicide in 2014. 
 
Tuesday, September 29, is Say Hey Tuesday as CSN Bay Area will host Giants Pregame Live, and Giants Postgame Live from Willie Mays Plaza. Fans are invited to come out early and watch their favorite sports analysts. The first 500 fans who come to Willie Mays Plaza and get in line at the Comcast SportsNet tent will receive a Giants Item.
 
Wednesday, September 30, is Oktoberfest at AT&T Park. Special event ticket holders will receive access to the private pre-game Oktoberfest in Seals Plaza from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. as well as a collector's-edition 2014 World Championship Stein. Cultural entertainment will take place at the pre-game event, and cultural food and drinks will be available for purchase.
It is also "Full Clubhouse"- A Tribute to Full House, at AT&T Park. Special event ticket holders will receive a ticket to the game against the Dodgers, and a collector's-edition Giants/"Full Clubhouse" Snowglobe featuring the famous "Painted Ladies" near Alamo Square. Various in-game entertainment will be themed around the Full House television series.
Also on Wednesday, fans who purchase a special VIP ticket will have the opportunity to experience Heroes and Comics Special VIP Experience. VIP ticket holders will receive admission to the Triples Alley Premium Location from 4:45-6:45 p.m. for complimentary food and beverage, as well as a collector's edition custom made Santa Cruz Skateboard Deck, inspired by Stan Lee with original artwork by J. Scott Campbell. In addition, VIP ticket holders will receive one raffle ticket for various Heroes and Comics-themed prizes and Giants memorabilia. Special guests in the comic community will appear on a panel during the pre-game festivities to share their knowledge and insight of the industry.
 
On September 30, the Giants will also celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Good Tidings Foundation, long-time partner of the Giants Community Fund and builder of Junior Giants Fields.
 
On Friday, October 2, the 35th annual 2015 "Willie Mac Award" will be presented to the most inspirational player on the team, as voted by Giants players, coaches, and fans. Scheduled to attend is current players and coaches; Shawon Dunston, Mark Gardner, Matt Cain, Ryan Volgelsong, Buster Posey, Hunter Pence, and Madison Bumgarner, as well as Jack Clark, Larry Herndon, Darrell Evans, Mike Krukow, Chris Speier, Dave Dravecky, Mike Felder, Robby Thompson, Kirt Manwaring, Mark Leiter, J.T. Snow, Marvin Benard, Bengie Molina, Andres Torres.
Friday is also African American Heritage Night presented by AT&T. Special event ticket holders will receive a Commemorative Willie Mayes T-Shirt, inspired by world famous painter of urban art, Justin Bua, as well as a ticket to watch the Giants take on the Rockies. Partial proceeds from each special event ticket sold will support non-profits such as The Say Hey Foundation which is dedicated to fulfilling Willie May's dream of giving every child a chance, by offering underprivileged youth positive opportunities and safer communities.
 
            It is also Stanford University Night at AT&T Park. All Cardinals students, alumni and fans who purchase a special event ticket will receive a limited-edition Stanford University/Giants Hat, as well as a ticket to the game against the Rockies. Partial proceeds from the event will go back to a Stanford University-affiliated non-profit.
 
            Before the game on Saturday, October 3, the Giants will honor Tim Hudson and commemorate his 17-year Major League career.
 
Saturday is also the Giants fifth annual STAR WARS® Day at AT&T Park. The first 20,000 fans in attendance will receive a Chewbacca Bobblehead. In addition, fans with a special event ticket will receive a limited-edition Giants-themed Chewbacca Bobblehead as well as a ticket to the game versus the Rockies. VIP ticket holders will have access to the Triples Alley pre-game party from 10:35 a.m.-12:35 p.m., complete with complimentary food and beverages, and three STAR WARS® items. VIP ticket holders will also receive a limited- edition STAR WARS® Day/Chewbacca Print. All fans will be able to enjoy fun STAR WARS®-themed activity throughout the ballpark during the game. 
 
Sunday, September 28, is Fan Appreciation Day. Prizes will be given away throughout the game, including the grand prize of a Toyota Tacoma to one lucky winner.The game starts at 12:05 p.m. and fans are encouraged to be in their seats by 11:30 a.m. for special festivities.
Additionally on Sunday, all kids 14-years and younger are invited to run the bases following the game, presented by See's Candies. Sunday is also the Giants official autograph day, when two players, coaches, or alumni sign autographs following the conclusion of batting practice. Autographs are for kids 16 and under.
            From Friday October 2-Sunday October 4, there will be three special Fan AppreciationMystery Bobblehead Prize Pack giveaways located at section VR 334. Fans with these special events tickets will receive one bobblehead and one additional Giants item. A portion of the proceeds from each ticket sold will benefit local non-profits.
