Padres to begin search for new manager
Interim Manager Pat Murphy will not return in same capacity for 2016
SAN DIEGO - San Diego Padres Executive Vice President/General Manager A.J. Preller announced today that the club will begin a search for a new manager immediately. Interim manager Pat Murphy will not be returning in the same capacity with the Padres in 2016.
Preller will be available to credentialed media at Petco Park tomorrow morning, Monday, October 5, 2015 in the Padres clubhouse interview room at 10:30 a.m. PT. All media should wear their 2015 Petco Park credentials to gain entry to the ballpark.
