Allegheny County, City of Pittsburgh and PNC to Host Pirates Playoff Rally

PITTSBURGH - Allegheny County, the City of Pittsburgh, PNC Bank and the Pittsburgh Pirates today announced a Playoff Rally will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, October 6, in the Courthouse Courtyard. Fans are encouraged to come down to the Courthouse and show off their Pirates pride as the team prepares to make its third straight Postseason appearance.

In addition to rooting on our Pirates, there will be music beginning at 11:30 a.m. and Pirates prizes during the rally. There will also be an appearance by the Pirate Parrot, the Bucco Brigade and Pirates executives and alumni.

The County, the City of Pittsburgh and PNC Bank have also declared Tuesday "Pittsburgh Pirates Pride Day" and encouraging everyone to show their support for our Buccos by donning black and gold, or Pirates gear. Additionally, Wednesday has been designated as "Buctober Black Out Day" and fans are asked to wear black clothing whether they'll be at PNC Park, or are rooting the Pirates on from afar.
