Red Sox to host "Halloween at Fenway Park" Saturday, October 31

Free Event Includes Trick-or-Treating on the Warning Track from 1-5 p.m.; Carved Pumpkin Contest to Take Place Thursday, October 29

The Red Sox invite fans to attend "Halloween at Fenway Park" on Saturday, October 31, when children and adults will have a chance to trick-or-treat around the warning track. Fans are also invited to enter their carved pumpkins into a contest at the ballpark on Thursday, October 29.

Both trick-or-treating and the pumpkin contest are free and open to the public.

Trick-or-treating will take place from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on October 31. The outfield will be adorned with Halloween decorations as costumed staff hand out candy. Wally the Green Monster will be present, along with the three World Series trophies, balloon artists, face painters, caricaturists, and stilt walker "Big League Brian." Hi-Chew will donate candy for the event. Costumes are encouraged.

On Thursday, October 29, fans can drop off their pre-carved pumpkins from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. to be judged in a contest. Members of the Red Sox front office will act as judges, and prizes will be awarded to the top three pumpkins. The winning pumpkins will be announced on Friday, October 30. All pumpkins will be on display in the outfield on Halloween when it will be transformed into a haunted pumpkin patch.

Fans can enter the ballpark through Gate C for both the pumpkin contest on October 29, and to trick-or-treat on October 31.
