Kansas City Royals announce moves, set World Series roster

KANSAS CITY, MO. (October 27, 2015) - The Kansas City Royals have set their 25-man roster for the World Series, which begins tonight at 7:07 p.m. CT on FOX. The Royals have placed infielder Raul Mondesi on the World Series roster by selecting his contract from Northwest Arkansas (AA). To make room for Mondesi on the 40-man roster, the club has designated right-handed pitcher Joba Chamberlain for assignment. Mondesi will replace outfielder Terrance Gore on the active postseason roster (attached).
