Red Sox complete front office reorganziation
Kennedy Announces Senior Leadership Roles and Promotions
BOSTON, MA - The Red Sox today announced members of the front office senior leadership team, completing a reorganization that began in August with the appointment of Sam Kennedy as Club President, and Dave Dombrowski as President of Baseball Operations. Both Kennedy and Dombrowski report to Red Sox Principal Owner John Henry and Chairman Tom Werner.
In addition to the previously announced changes to senior baseball operations personnel, the leadership team reporting directly to Kennedy is as follows:
§ Jonathan Gilula will continue to serve as Executive Vice President, Business Affairs, and will have management responsibility for all club business operations, real estate planning, and development activities, including Fenway Park improvements, Florida operations, and special projects. Gilula has been with the Red Sox since 2002, and has worked in baseball for 18 years.
§ Troup Parkinson has been named Executive Vice President, Partnerships, responsible for the club's Corporate Partnerships, Premium Services, and Community, Player and Alumni Relations. Parkinson has worked for the Red Sox since 2002, and has a total of 18 years working in the sports industry.
§ David Beeston has been appointed Senior Vice President, Strategic Planning & Senior Counsel, acting as a senior advisor to Kennedy, and responsible for key programs and strategic initiatives across the organization. Beeston has been with the Red Sox since 2013, and has worked in the sports industry for six years.
§ Ron Bumgarner will continue to serve as Senior Vice President, Ticketing and Fenway Enterprises, with oversight of all ticketing activities and non-baseball events at Fenway Park. Bumgarner has been with the Red Sox since 2002, and has worked in baseball for 25 years.
§ Adam Grossman has been named Senior Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer, managing the club's marketing, branding, creative content, and communications efforts. Grossman has worked for the Red Sox a total of 12 years, and has 14 years of experience in the sports industry.
§ Amy Waryas will continue to serve as Senior Vice President, Human Resources, responsible for leadership development, recruiting, compensation, benefits, diversity, employee relations, and training. Waryas has worked for the Red Sox since 2011.
§ Tim Zue has been appointed Senior Vice President, Finance, Strategy, and Analytics, with oversight of all club financial matters and key business decisions. Zue has worked for the Red Sox since 2003.
The Red Sox also announced the promotion of the following, longstanding executives as part of the reorganization:
§ Naomi Calder has been named Vice President, Ticket Services & Operations. Calder has worked for the Red Sox since 2002.
§ Katie Haas has been promoted to Vice President, Florida Business Operations. Haas has been with the club for a total of 12 years.
§ Pam Kenn has been promoted to Vice President, Community, Alumni & Player Relations. Kenn has worked with the Red Sox since 2000.
§ Marcita Thompson has been appointed Vice President, Fenway Park Tours. Thompson has worked for the club since 1998.
