Attendees to enjoy Irish cultural offerings alongside the hurling match, including a performance by American Celtic punk band Dropkick Murphys and Irish food and refreshments

Celtic punk band and Boston natives Dropkick Murphys will headline the AIG Fenway Hurling Classic and Irish Festival on November 22 at Fenway Park. Along with the Dropkick Murphys performance, the AIG Fenway Hurling Classic and Irish Festival will offer a full lineup of entertainment and cultural offerings that will accompany the hurling match between Dublin and Galway. The festival will celebrate the close connection and storied past of Boston and Ireland with music, food, and refreshments beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Fenway Park.

"We love playing Fenway Park and are thrilled to be taking part in the Irish Festival," said Dropkick Murphys bassist and lead singer Ken Casey. "This is going to be a unique performance and a great celebration of all things Irish at Fenway Park. The band is looking forward to watching the hurling match and then rocking the ballpark."

Tickets for the AIG Fenway Hurling Classic and Irish Festival start at $25 and are available at redsox.com/irishfestival. A limited number of general admission wristbands to watch the Dropkick Murphys performance on the field in front of the stage are available for an additional $20.

The festival, which is being produced by Fenway Sports Management, will offer a day of family fun and a celebration of Irish culture. Festival entertainment will include performances by a variety of Irish musical groups. Attendees will also be able to enjoy traditional Irish food and drink, including corned beef sandwiches, curry fries, and Jameson & ginger. All of the cultural elements will add to the excitement for the main event - the fast-paced exhibition hurling match, between all-Ireland Finalist Galway and rival Dublin, featuring some of the top hurling players from the Emerald Isle.
