White Sox announce 2016 Spring Training schedule

The Chicago White Sox begin the 2016 Cactus League season on Thursday, March 3 as the "visiting" team against the Los Angeles Dodgers at Camelback Ranch - Glendale (CR-G), the teams' shared spring ballpark in Glendale, Ariz.
 
The White Sox will play their first official home game the next day, March 4, against division-rival Cleveland. All White Sox home games are scheduled to begin at 1:05 p.m. AZT, except for split-squad games on March 26 vs. Cincinnati (12:05 p.m.) and at the Dodgers (7:05 p.m.).
 
The Sox will play 14 home games at CR-G, including games against the crosstown-rival Cubs (March 18) and 2015 World Series Champion Kansas City Royals (March 10). The Sox also play the Cubs on March 12 in Mesa.
 
The White Sox exhibition schedule closes with two contests against the Padres at San Diego's Petco Park on Friday, April 1 (9:10 p.m. CT) and Saturday, April 2 (3:10 p.m. CT). The Sox open the 2016 regular season at O.co Coliseum on Monday, April 4 against the Oakland Athletics.

 

Season-ticket plans, group offers and suites for games at CR-G go on sale beginning today at whitesox.com/spring and include the following options:
 
  • 29-game plans - All White Sox and Dodgers games played at CR-G;
  • 14-game plans - All White Sox home games played at CR-G;
  • Mini-plans - Any three or more games of choice; fans who purchase $100 or more in White Sox mini-plan tickets will receive four complimentary vouchers redeemable to any White Sox home game in April 2016 (excludes Opening Day).

A spring training broadcast schedule and report dates will be announced at a later date. Tickets to individual spring training games at CR-G go on sale January 11. All White Sox spring training information is available at whitesox.com/spring. The current schedule is subject to change.
