Scott Radinsky named Angels bullpen coach
Angels round out 2016 coaching staff
The Angels today announced former Major League pitcher Scott Radinsky has been named as the Club's bullpen coach. Today's announcement was made by Angels General Manager Billy Eppler.
Radinsky, 47, joins the Angels after spending the previous three seasons as a minor league pitching coach in the Los Angeles Dodgers organization. Last season he helped guide Triple-A Oklahoma City to a Pacific Coast League leading 86 wins after spending 2014 with Double-A Chattanooga and the 2013 season with Adv.-Rookie Ogden.
A native of Glendale, CA, Radinsky spent eight seasons (2004-12) coaching in the Cleveland organization including three years on the Indians Major League staff as bullpen coach (2010-11) and pitching coach (2012).
Radinsky pitched 11 Major League seasons with the White Sox (1990-95), Dodgers (1996-98), Cardinals (1999-2000) and Indians (2001), compiling a career record of 42-25 with 52 saves and a 3.44 ERA (481.2 IP - 184 ER) in 557 relief appearances.
