Jerome's Furniture signs on as presenting partner of Holiday Wonderland at Petco Park

SAN DIEGO - It was announced today that Jerome's Furniture has signed on as the presenting partner of this year's Holiday Wonderland at Petco Park, which opens to the public this Friday, December 4. The event runs for three consecutive weekends from 4:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Friday through Sunday. During the final few nights leading up to Christmas Eve (Monday, December 21 to Wednesday, December 23), Holiday Wonderland presented by Jerome's Furniture will be open from 4:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale now at www.padres.com/holiday. 

Presenting partner Jerome's Furniture, which was part of last year's inaugural event, will once again furnish the Christmas Morning scene, one of many walk-through lighting vignettes at this year's expanded event. Guests attending are encouraged to visit the Christmas Morning vignette for a chance to enter to win the living room set featured in the scene, consisting of a sofa, accent tables, an accent chair and a rug.

"Jerome's is pleased to once again be part of Holiday Wonderland at Petco Park - it's a holiday experience people won't forget," said Jerome's Furniture Senior Vice President Jim Navarra. "We hope it will become a San Diego tradition for years to come."

In addition to walk-through lighting vignettes, Holiday Wonderland will feature a carousel, a 40' tree presented by SDG&E, and an even larger arctic snow hill presented by Toyota for tubing on the playing field. There will be a secondary snow area in the Park at the Park, designated as a snow play zone. The Park at the Park will also feature winter-themed inflatables and games. Other new additions to the festivities include a Ferris wheel, Craft Corner presented by Souplantation, and even more holiday characters with designated performance times. Once again this year, guests can ride a Polar Express train for $5.

New this year, guests can make the trek to the North Pole in the Western Metal Supply Co. Building, where they will once again see live reindeer, discover Santa's workshop and meet his elves. Visits with Santa at the North Pole are included in the price of admission. Guests who would like a commemorative photo with Santa can purchase a $25 package that includes a dedicated line and a limited-edition Padres-themed The Elf on the Shelf ornament.

Adult admission is $20 and child admission is $10. Kids under three will be admitted free of charge. In an effort to keep crowds at an optimal level for event enjoyment, tickets are date-specific. Purchasing tickets in advance is strongly encouraged, as ticket sales will be capped once each date has reached capacity. In the event that Holiday Wonderland is shut down due to rain, guests will have the opportunity to exchange their date-specific tickets for another night.

Those who would prefer to purchase tickets good for any date Holiday Wonderland is open can take advantage of the Red Bow Package, which includes two tickets good for any night of the event, entry at a dedicated gate and a limited-edition Padres-themed The Elf on the Shelf ornament.
