Indians to host Spring Training report day party at Happy Dog on Feb. 17

The Cleveland Indians and Happy Dog will play host to a Spring Training party on Wednesday, Feb. 17, the day Tribe pitchers and catchers are scheduled to report to Goodyear, Ariz. Admission is free, subject to capacity restrictions at Happy Dog.

The Cleveland Indians and Happy Dog will play host to a Spring Training party on Wednesday, Feb. 17, the day Tribe pitchers and catchers are scheduled to report to Goodyear, Ariz. Admission is free, subject to capacity restrictions at Happy Dog.
 
Indians fans will enjoy a number of baseball-themed activities, including:
·         Q&A hosted by Tribe radio broadcaster Jim Rosenhaus and SportsTime Ohio analyst/former Tribe pitcher Jensen Lewis
·         Opening Day ticket giveaway (one winner, two tickets)
·         Other Indians giveaways (promotional items, etc.)
·         Appearances from Tribe mascots
 
Fans also can enjoy happy hour beer specials and Happy Dog's signature, gourmet hot dogs, for which the restaurant offers over 50 different toppings.
 
Happy Dog, located in Cleveland's Detroit-Shoreway neighborhood, is one of three new local food vendors coming to Progressive Field in 2016, along with Ohio City Burrito and Cleveland Pickle. That trio joins Melt Bar and Grilled, Barrio, Sweet Moses, Dynomite Burgers and Great Lakes Brewing Co. among local food vendors with locations at the ballpark. More will be announced for Progressive Field's Infield District before Opening Day.
