Kiermaier Bobblehead One of Two Dozen Items on Rays Promo Schedule

The Tampa Bay Rays will honor Kevin Kiermaier's 2015 Platinum Glove Award with a pair of premium promotional items for fans on the first home weekend of the season.

The Tampa Bay Rays will honor Kevin Kiermaier's 2015 Platinum Glove Award with a pair of premium promotional items for fans on the first home weekend of the season. These unique collectables are among 24 items on the Rays 2016 promotional schedule, all slated for weekend home dates.
Single-game tickets to these dates and all Rays home games will go on sale on Friday, February 19 exclusively at raysbaseball.com. The following day, Saturday, February 20, tickets will be available at the Rays Tampa Store at 400 N. Tampa St., the Tropicana Field Box Office or by calling 888-FAN-RAYS.
All fans will receive a special Kevin Kiermaier Platinum Glove Bobblehead presented by DEX Imaging on Saturday, April 16. That day, Kiermaier will receive his Rawlings Platinum Glove Award, which recognizes the best overall defensive player in both the American and National Leagues, from Rawlings officials prior to the Rays-White Sox game at Tropicana Field. The following day, Sunday, April 17, all kids 14 and under will receive a Kevin Kiermaier Glove presented by the Florida Division of Emergency Management.
The Rays will also feature a Kiermaier Claus Bobblehead when the team celebrates Christmas in July versus the Orioles on July 17.
Saturday promotional items this year include a Chris Archer K-Counter Bobblehead (April 30 vs. Blue Jays) presented by Bright House Networks; a Rays Fedora (May 14 vs. Athletics) presented by Moffitt Cancer Center; a Rays Floppy Hat (July 2 vs. Tigers) presented by the Florida Department of Transportation; and an Evan Longoria Solar Powered Gnome (August 6 vs. Twins).
Sundays will once again be Family Fun Days. Every Sunday home game will feature free parking for cars with four or more passengers and a variety of postgame activities for kids including Kids Run the Bases and a DJ Kitty Dance Party featuring mascots and entertainers. For the third year in a row, concourse activities will be complimentary for kids 14 and under. Activities include the Grand Slam Alley, Power Alley Batting Cage, Speed Pitch, Raymond's Art Studio and Topps Make Your Own Baseball Card. Extra entertainers will also perform on Sundays including face painters, airbrush tattoo artists, magicians, caricaturists, stilt walkers, jugglers and balloon artists.
Sunday promotional items for kids 14 and under include a Velcro Toss and Catch Set (May 29 vs. Yankees) presented by Match-Up Promotions; a Rays Bucket Hat (June 12 vs. Astros) presented by TradeWinds Island Resorts; Rays backpack (July 31 vs. Yankees); Rays Laundry Hamper (August 7 vs. Twins); Raymond and DJ Kitty Double Bobblehead (August 21 vs. Rangers) presented by Suncoast Credit Union; Superhero Cape Socks (September 4 vs. Blue Jays) presented by All Children's Hospital Johns Hopkins Medicine; and a DJ Kitty Toothbrush Holder (September 25 vs. Red Sox) presented by United Concordia Dental.

· Tickets for kids 14 and under are $2 with the purchase of a full-price adult ticket.

· Kayem all-beef hot dogs are $2.
Thursday Senior Special
    
· Tickets for fans 60 years of age or older are $15.
Student Rush Friday
    
· Students (18 and over) with a valid high school or college ID can purchase tickets for $15.
