CBS Radio's 105.7 The Fan to broadcast 12 Orioles Spring Training games

The Orioles and CBS RADIO's 105.7 The Fan (WJZ-FM), the flagship station of the Orioles Radio Network, have announced that 12 Orioles Spring Training games will be broadcast in 2016. The schedule begins with the home opener against the Atlanta Braves on Wednesday, March 2, at 1:05 p.m. ET, and includes six additional home games in Sarasota. Three of the 12 broadcasts will feature 30-minute pre-game and post-game shows.

The Orioles and CBS Radio's 105.7 The Fan (WJZ-FM), the flagship station of the Orioles Radio Network, have announced that 12 Orioles Spring Training games will be broadcast in 2016. The schedule begins with the home opener against the Atlanta Braves on Wednesday, March 2, at 1:05 p.m. ET, and includes six additional home games in Sarasota. Three of the 12 broadcasts will feature 30-minute pre-game and post-game shows.
 
105.7 The Fan will again broadcast all 162 Orioles regular season games this season. Longtime Orioles Radio Network broadcaster Joe Angel will return for his 17th season and will be joined by veteran broadcaster Jim Hunter for most games. Fred Manfra also returns to the Orioles Radio Network for his 24th season and will call select games. Former Orioles pitcher Ben McDonald and MASN broadcaster and Orioles Hall of Famer Mike Bordick will also join the radio broadcast team to provide analysis for several games this season.
 
Hunter, who will continue to appear on MASN's game broadcasts, enters his 20th year as a member of the Orioles broadcast team. McDonald was the first overall selection in the 1989 First-Year Player Draft and pitched for the Orioles for seven seasons. He has provided analysis for select Orioles Radio and MASN broadcasts and contributes to ESPN and SEC Network coverage of college baseball. A 2011 Orioles Hall of Fame inductee, Bordick was an infielder with the club for six seasons and enters his fifth season as a MASN broadcaster.
 
The "Hot Stove Show" on 105.7 The Fan will continue to air live every Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. through March 31.
 
Additionally, MASN previously announced that it will televise seven Orioles Spring Training games in 2016 on March 8, 10, 16, 20, 25, 29, and 30.
