Bonneville Seattle Media Group and the Seattle Mariners have agreed to a multi-year contract extension for 710 ESPN Seattle to continue serving as the home of Mariners Baseball.

"Bonneville has been our radio home for 25 of our first 39 years, and we are happy to continue our long and successful partnership with 710 ESPN Seattle and the Bonneville stations," said Kevin Mather, Seattle Mariners President and COO.

The Mariners have been broadcasting on 710 ESPN Seattle since the station's transition to an all-sports format in 2009. KIRO-AM was also the team's flagship station from 1985 - 2002.

"Bonneville's mission is to connect our community by providing original, local content that Northwest people care about deeply," said Carl Gardner, VP/GM of Bonneville Seattle Media Group. "Nothing fits that description better than Mariners baseball, so we are delighted to continue our long, storied partnership with the Seattle Mariners."

"We are excited to continue our proud partnership with the Mariners," said Mike Salk, 710 ESPN Seattle Program Director and Host. "We couldn't be happier to continue broadcasting Mariners games and partnering with this great organization. The future is bright."

The Mariners will continue to have a year-round presence on 710 ESPN Seattle including all regular season games, as well as pre-game and post-game programming, a weekly magazine feature program during baseball season, the Hot Stove League during the off-season, Cactus League Report during Spring Training, and 30 Spring Training games.
