Red Sox announce roster moves

With these moves, the Red Sox now have 39 players in big league camp, including 31 players from the 40-man roster and eight non-roster invitees.

Prior to today's game against the New York Mets at JetBlue Park, the Boston Red Sox made the following roster moves:
- Right-handed pitcher Heath Hemree and left-handed pitchers Brian Johnson and Henry Owens were optioned to Triple-A Pawtucket.
- Outfielder Ryan LaMarre, right-handed pitcher Roman Mendez, and first baseman Sam Travis were reassigned to minor league camp.
President of Baseball Operations David Dombrowski made the announcement.
