Red Sox to celebrate David Ortiz during final Spring Training home game

Fans are asked to be in their seats for the ceremony by 12:30 p.m.

The Red Sox will celebrate nine-time All-Star and three-time World Series Champion David Ortiz before his final Spring Training home game at JetBlue Park on Monday, March 28, before the 1:05 p.m. Red Sox-Orioles game.
Ortiz's number 34 will be painted on the grass on both baselines and the slugger will be presented with gifts from the Red Sox that commemorate his Spring Training days in Lee County.
Fans are asked to be in their seats for the ceremony by 12:30 p.m.
Ortiz announced his plans to retire on November 18, 2015 - his 40th birthday. He will play his 20th and final season in 2016, his 14th as a member of the Red Sox.
