SURPRISE, Ariz. (March 28, 2016) - The Kansas City Royals announced today that they have released pitchers Brian Duensing and Peter Moylan as well as infielder Clint Barmes from their minor league contracts. 
Following the moves, the Royals have 34 players in Major League camp, in addition to left-handed pitchers Jason Vargas and Mike Minor, who are both on the 60-day D.L. Of the 34 remaining players, six of them are non-roster invitees.
